Position: Oracle SaaS specialist Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid) Duration: CTHThe successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing the use of the recently implemented Oracle Cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) from the client's perspective, problem-solving, leading testing activities, and serving as a liaison. As a result, the person in this role needs knowledge and experience with both ERP systems and Accounting (as well as internal controls and report creation, etc.)Ideal Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate has knowledge of and experience with an Oracle ERP system combined with knowledge of Project Management and Financial Accounting. The ideal candidate has experience implementing a new Oracle ERP system and the ability to troubleshoot ERP system-related problems. Minimum Qualifications: * A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science or related fields and five (5) years relevant experience in Accounting, Auditing, project implementation or management, financial or business process improvement, system and data analysis, and/or related work.Job Specific Competencies: * Accounting experience or knowledge including the preparing journal entries and accounting reports. * Knowledge of an Oracle ERP system * Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence (BI or OBIEE) or other reporting tools. Knowledge of SQL or Oracle Smart View would be a big plus. * Ability to work with, use, and monitor the Oracle ERP system by troubleshooting problems. For example, solutions may include recommending improved configurations, creating training, or developing new accounting policies and procedures. * Skill in solving problems with ERP systems, accounting systems and/or other computer systems. * Consulting experience would be a big plus. * Knowledge of financial management. * Having passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO) and/or other comparable professional exam would a plus. * Knowledge of effective internal controls. We use FastPath or Oracle Risk Management software to set up processes to detect internal control issues. * Knowledge of budgeting. * Skill in writing reports and/or system documentation. * Ability to develop computer-based spreadsheets, graphs, summaries, and reports. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. * Ability to effectively manage, schedule, train, monitor, and evaluate assigned staff. * Ability to manage time and prioritize workload effectively.Representative Duties: * Research and solve Oracle SaaS and Accounting problems. Work with Information Technology Department, Oracle, and other internal/external parties to solve problems as necessary. Solutions may involve recommending changes to configuration, auto accounting or subledger accounting rules, procedures, new reporting, program code or data or submitting service or change requests. * Conduct training sessions or workgroups to solve problems, collaboratively develop new processes, and train personnel. * Understand business processes from an Accounting and Internal Control perspective. Develop, monitor, investigate (or coordinate investigation by others) of FastPath and/or Oracle Risk Management results * Use Oracle reporting tools (such as OTBI etc.) to help set up new ways to monitor the General Ledger and subledgers/modules to ensure the quality and integrity of financial information. * Review system documentation and make or recommend corrections to facilitate future upgrades to the Oracle ERP system and related subsystems. * Lead Oracle quarterly patch testing from the client's perspective. * Understand interfaces between systems so that problems can be identified and then lead meetings with Accounting and information technology personnel to solve and prevent from happening in the future. * Lead special accounting or Oracle SaaS-related projects * Represent the Department in meetings with representatives of other entitiesDexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
